I cant even imagine. I was never a dog person and then when we moved to Texas Kaitlyn somehow talked me into buying a dog... Ive had her just over 1 1/2 years (she will be 2 in july) and really I cant imagine not having her. She just has a way of making things better. Oddly, Sophie has kept me sane with this move back to CA and my current situation of being unemployed and looking for work... its weird... so really when I say Jake's post my heart went out to you guys
So sad. Hubby and I have no human children, but one very furry one and when he passes I'm pretty sure we will collapse from grief. Hub says when he dies his first question for G-d will be, "Why didn't You let dogs live as long as humans?" After all dog spelled backwards...Sorry for your loss. I hope when it's the right time for you your family will be able to find a new canine family member.
Thank you for your sympathy. It's taking so much longer to recover from the loss than we had expected, so no new dogs for us for the foreseeable future. xo Jaime
Very cute :)
ReplyDeleteIm sure she will treasure that :)
So sorry you guys had such a rough day yesterday!
Thank you so much! It was a really tough day. We had adopted her 10 years ago, almost exactly to the day. Losing her was heartbreaking.
